Chapter 6-12



I’d imagine jerkies would make a reliable source of food for campers and travellers. They’re very basic to prepare. Thin strips of meat, cured (salted) and sun dried to prevent them from spoiling while also preserving them for a long time. Most of it would be lean meat as fats are too soggy for the drying process.
