ANJING

a little comic, about a small dog on a long walk

Chapter 6-6

Pirates actually rarely bury treasure, despite what the novel “Treasure Island” tells you, as treasure that’s buried meant treasure that’s not spent on more grog and gambling. It was a very iconic imagery though.

The idea probably originated from “Captain William Kidd”, a pirate who actually did bury his treasure. He intended to use the information of its location as a leverage to escape trial and punishment for piracy when he went back to England. Unfortunately nobody bought it, and he perished along with its location.

ABOUT

Anjing follows the journey of a dog, in a world governed by dreams and fancies, where valleys are paved with scattered folklores, and mountains whisper of forgotten tales.

SUPPORT

For the most part, Anjing runs on the love for creating stories. There are no ads and all its expenses are carried by me, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t accept a bit of help. I have a patreon if you’d like to help keep the lights on, and a ko-fi for those who stayed a while and would like to say thanks for the ride ~
